Vehicles in German City Discovered Covered with Nazi Symbols in Blood, Police State

Around fifty automobiles have been covered with what seems to be human blood in the Germany's city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm authorities.

Cars, exterior walls and postboxes were defaced, in some cases with swastikas, they reported in a release.

Law enforcement report they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday, when a resident observed that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored fluid.

The fluid had been placed in the shape of a swastika, they reported.

Police then found multiple other smeared cars and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations outlawing the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials report preliminary tests indicate the fluid was most likely human blood.

"There is still no indication as to where it came from; authorities are presently not cognizant of any physical harm in association with the incident," they stated.

City officials said they were trying "to solve the case" and have appealed to the residents for information.

A senior political figure stated the attack made him without words and needed to be solved rapidly.

"This event affects the center of Hanau and revives the pain of the extremist terrorist attack five years ago," he stated on a platform, referring to the death of nine people by a assailant aiming at residents of migrant background in 2020.
