Meteorological Predictions
Damp conditions were forecast to persist along much of eastern Queensland this coming days as a atmospheric system continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.
Tuesday was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with ongoing thunderstorm potential expected across multiple regions of both areas.

Public health experts cautioned that there was an increased chance of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the northern rural areas, particularly given the current weather patterns.
