British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
